Finding Books in Our Library

Click above to access the catalog.Type in search term. Once results appear, click on title to read more about the book.

To locate the book, click on COPIES. Then look for call #. Write this number down. (Ex. 361.94 SHE)

Use the number guides at the end of the shelves to locate your book.

Books are in numerical order first, then alphabetical.

Books WILL NOT BE available to checkout while in the library. Let us know if you need any help finding a book or checking out.

Reminders About Google

When you need to leave the Research Guide you should use Google Scholar

Please discuss your decision with your teacher or your librarian before taking notes.

  • Who are the authors/publishers, and why do you believe they are reliable?
  • What is the relevance of this information to my topic?
  • When was this information published?  Is it considered current?
  • Where does this source gets its information, does it have a bibliography of sources?
  • Why does this source exist?  What is the point of view I should be aware of?

These are a few of the questions your librarian uses when selecting a resource for this guide, and you are expected to adhere to these same high standards.
