To celebrate Black History Month, let's research famous people who helped make our world a better place.

MLA Style Guide

Students need to give credit for the information found in research.  Here are some guidelines for Lower School Students to create a Works Cited page. 

Citing an Online Article/ Website

1. Name of author, if you can find it.

2. "Title of article in quotation marks."  (Capitalize as needed)  

3. Sponsor or publisher of the page.

4. Format of Resource.

5. Date of visit to website. 

Citing a Book

1. Author's Name

2. Title of book (Italicized).

3. City of publication:

4. Publisher, year of publication. 

5. Format of resource.

Citing an Online Encyclopedia

1. Name of author, if you can find it.  

2. "Title of article in quotation marks."

3. Sponsor or publisher of the page.

4. Format of Resource.

5. Date of vist to website.
