MLA Style Guide

Students need to give credit for the information found in research.  Here are some guidelines for Lower School Students to create a Works Cited page. 

Book

1. Author's Name

2. Title of book (Italicized).

3. City of publication:

4. Publisher, year of publication. 

5. Format of resource : Print.

Edwards, Robert.  Who Was Paul Revere?  New York:  Grosset & Dunlap, 2011. Print.

Online Encyclopedia

1. Name of author, if you can find it.  

2. "Title of article in quotation marks."

3. Sponsor or publisher of the page.

4. Format of Source: Web.

5. Date of vist to website. 

"Paul Revere." Britannica Encyclopedia. Web. 1 Oct. 2014. 

Internet Article

1. Name of author, if you can find it.

2. "Title of article in quotation marks."  (Capitalize as needed)  

3. Sponsor or publisher of the page.

4. Format of Source : Web.

5. Date of visit to website.
